This policy explains what Asasi Technologies Limited, the company behind Ploty, does with personal information collected through this website and the Ploty platform. We follow Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 and the data protection laws of the countries where our clients work.
What we collect on this website
When you ask for a demo or a quote we collect your name, email address and phone number and, if you give them, your company, country, type of business, the size of your portfolio, a time that suits you and your message. We also note the language you used.
Why we use it
Only to reply to you, arrange a demonstration, prepare a quote and keep a record of our conversation. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.
Information inside Ploty
Agencies and landlords who use Ploty enter details of their properties, tenants and payments. That information is theirs: they decide what is collected and why, and we handle it only to run the service for them, under our agreement with each client. Tenants with questions about their information should contact their agency or landlord.
Cookies
This website sets one cookie, to remember the language you chose. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The Ploty platform uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in. We count visits and page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Who sees it
Our own staff, and the providers who host our systems or send messages for us, who must keep it confidential. We disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for up to two years after. If you become a client, our agreement applies instead. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Keeping it safe
We protect information with measures such as encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to stop us using it. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. Write to us at info@asasilimited.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
